Jordan Dancers attend dance convention in Mobile
They had the opportunity to learn new technique methods and choreography from some of the leading teachers and choreographers. Macy Jackson, Jazmine Stabler and Dharanie Stewart all received spirit awards from Mrs. Puffie, founder of the Beanie Baby Rock series, and many more children's creative movement works. The Jordan Dancers also hosted the 2nd annual Jordan Dancers Cancer Benefit on March 16.
Jill Coplen and Sarah Tussey served as emcees, both Mrs. Ashley's students in the Advanced Ballet class at Judson College. Emily Steadman was the guest speaker and Marice Dyess gave prayer for the benefit. The gala was dedicated in the memory of Jane Dyess and Jesse Ray Jordan. All proceeds raised will be donated to Relay for Life.
