Etheredges celebrate 70th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Etheredge celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2008. The family gathered on Easter to celebrate the event at the home of their daughter Alese Barton.

Mrs. Velma Etheredge is a resident of the Jackson Health Care Facility. Mr. Etheredge has recently moved from the family home at Salitpa, to live in Jackson.

The couple has seven surviving children and two deceased, 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
