WCHS Bulldogs fall to 5-9 on the season

The Washington County Bulldogs fell to 5-9 on the season. WCHS knocked off Fruitdale 13-3 but was swept by Clarke County in Grove Hill.

WCHS 13, Fruitdale 3 Trey Courington smacked a two-run homer and pounded out five RBIs to help WCHS knock off Fruitdale 13-3.

Tyler Dykes and Kez Cooper both had two hits and two RBIs for the Bulldogs. Taylor Parnell picked up the win working four innings while giving up only two hits.

CCHS 16, WCHS 8

Josh Watford scattered five hits through five innings as CCHS routed the Washington County Bulldogs 16-8 in the first game of a doubleheader. Terrance Frazier was 4-4 with five RBIs for the Bulldogs.

Stats were not available from the second game but CCHS won 9-8.
