Nicholas Young earns Eagle Scout award

On Saturday, March 8, Troop 223 honored their youngest Eagle Scout, 15-year-old Nicholas Dontel Young of Calvert. On Dec. 27, 2007 Nicholas completed his project to achieve the title of Eagle Scout by restoring an old church bell at Lang's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in McIntosh. He is the fifth member of the troop to receive this award.
