Odom awarded scholarship

Garrison Odom, 8th grade student at Jackson Middle School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to the University of South Alabama as well as a $100 Savings Bond for being the most valuable player in the Regional Scholars Bowl Tournament in Mobile on March 14. Odom earned the award by scoring more points than any of the other competitors which included 160 students from 32 schools.
