The finish line is in sight; don't give up before it's crossed

Romans 8:18 "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

At times life seems to be an uphill struggle and it causes some people to give up just before they cross the finish line of life. Don't give up. Heaven will be worth every trial, heartache and disappointment that you experience in this life.

You are very important to God. He has provided you with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to help you in this life. Even the little sparrows that fly 6,000 miles every March over the oceans from Argentina to San Juan Capistrano know they can't swim or fly 6,000 miles without stopping. What do they do? Each sparrow takes a large twig in its mouth and drops it into the water when it gets tired to rest on it. In Matthew 10:31, Jesus said, "Ye are of more value than many sparrows."

Who or what are you resting on? I hope it is Jesus.
