Jeremy Armstead went 4-4 with five RBIs and two homers including a walk-off three-run blast in the bottom of the sixth inning to hand the previously unbeaten and top-ranked Leroy Bears their first loss of the season in an 11-1 rout.

The Aggies' Cody Bayles picked up the win on the mound with an impressive outing that saw the sophomore strike out eight batters and allow just three hits to the hard-hitting Bears.

"Cody (Bayles) really threw the ball well," Aggie coach Jason Jones said. "He does a great job of keeping the ball down. I knew he would give up a bunch of ground balls and we just needed to play defense behind him and we did that," Jones said.

Armstead wasn't the only Aggie to homer as Jackson pounded out a total of four home runs with Windham Jackson and Jeremy Reeves both adding tworun blasts.Matt Allen chipped in with two hits for Jackson.

Grant Brown took the loss on the hill for the Bears but had two of Leroy's three hits at the plate. Brandon Jones added the other going 1-3 for the game.

Leroy 11, Jackson 4

In almost an exact reversal of the first game, Leroy returned the favor with an 11-4 drubbing of Jackson in the nightcap.

Clint Moseley improved to 4-0 on the season with a seven-hit, seven-strikeout performance in six innings of work. Brown had a huge night at the plate for the Bears going 4-5 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

After Brown led off the game off with a single, Stephen Scoggins connected on a fastball for a two-run blast to put the Bears up 2-0 and set the tone for the rest of the game.

Scoggins was 2-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored in the game. Aerick Davis added a solo home run in the third as the junior went 2-4 with two RBIs for the game.

"We didn't play very well," Leroy coach Danny Powell said. "I am not sure if we're getting complacent or getting a big-head but we have got to get better."
