JA Lady Eagles lose two to fall to 4-7

The Jackson Academy Lady Eagles fell to 4-7 with losses to Patrician and Meadowview this past week.

PA 5, JA 0

The Patrician Saints blanked the Eagles 5-0 behind a strong pitching performance by ace pitcher Shayna Jimerson.

Mallory Lankford suffered the loss for JA.

Kayla Lowery, Sydney Thomas, Maggie Bowling and Laken Harvey had hits.

Meadowview 5, JA 1

The Meadowview Trojans knocked off the Lady Eagles 5-1 Thursday.

Lankford had two hits at the plate to lead the Eagles, followed by Haley Overstreet's 2-3 night. Maggie Bowling and Kayla Lowery added hits.

JA junior varsity

The Jackson Academy Lady Eagles junior varsity team fell to 1-3 on the season.

JA 8, SCA 6

JA knocked off South Choctaw Academy 8-6 Tuesday, March 13. Maggie Bowling picked up the win on the mound. Haley Overstreet was 3-3 while Harvey, Bowling, Ivy Bethea and Kaitlyn Square had hits.

Marengo 13, JA 1

JA fell to Marengo 13-1 last week. Bowling took the loss on the mound. Harvey was 1-2.

PA 10, JA 0

Jackson Academy lost their third game of the year with a 10-0 set-back against PA. Bowling took the loss on the mound for the Eagles. Haley Overstreet was 1-2.
