FUMC Chancel Choir to present Easter concert The Chancel Choir of the First United Methodist Church will sing its annual Easter concert at the Salitpa United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 16 at 3 p.m. The church no longer has weekly worship services, but opens its doors for the choir to present an Easter performance yearly. Under the direction of Elaine Carr, soloists will include Stanley Beard, Diana Brown, John Brown, Gay DeWitt, Jim DuFriend, Charlene Green, John Douglas McGowin, Chet Noble and Janet Rogers. Accompanying the choir will be Jim Rogers on the clarinet; Mary Stoker, pianist and Colette Chivers, organist.
The public is invited to attend.
