Fire destroys mobile home

Jackson firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze that totally destroyed a mobile home located at 510 East Pearl Street, Thursday, March 6, around 11:48 p.m. The home was owned by Shelita Young. The cause of the fire is unknown. All Jackson Fire Department units responded and were on the scene for approximately three hours. (Photo by Hilda Thomas)
