'The Market' supports Nicaraguan Mission Team

This child and others are helped by purchases made at The Market each year.
"The Market", March 7 and 8, is a yard sale and bake sale at the First Baptist Church of Jackson. The proceeds from this event supports the efforts of their Nicaraguan Mission Team.

Shopping opportunities begin Friday, March 7, 6-8 p.m., with Market Mania. For a $5 entrance fee, shoppers gain early access. The Market opens at 7 a.m., Saturday, with no admission. Baked items will be available for purchase during the activities.

The focus of the team, led by Dr. Norman Stevens, is raising money to pay for medicines, supplies and building a house for the pastor of the Baptist church in the village of El Sauce.

Items may be dropped off at the church fellowship hall Thursday, March 6 or contact the church office at 246-4491 and a team member will return your call.
