UM will present free concert The University of Mobile will present the faculty voice recital of Dr. Mihaela Buhaiciuc, assistant professor of music for the Center for Performing Arts, on March 31 at 7 p.m. in Moorer Auditorium, located on campus. The free concert is open to the public and will feature musical selections composed by Mozart, Ravel, Ciortea, Jora and Grigoriu. Buhaiciuc, a Romanian-born soprano, currently holds a master's and doctor of musical arts degree in voice performance from State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has toured as a soloist and lyrical artist throughout Eastern, Western Europe and the East Coast of the U.S.
