Daniel Shane Jordan

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jordan (nee Amanda Shields) of Villa Rica, Ga., announce the birth of a son, Daniel Shane, Feb. 15, 2008, 1:13 p.m. at Cobb Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. He weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz. and was 18-1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Pete Presnall of Whatley, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shields of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jordan of Foley. Greatgrandfather is Robert Howell of Jackson.

He was welcomed home by brother Dylan, age 4.

Rachel Irene Cleiland

Mr. and Mrs. David Cleiland (nee Jennifer Matlock) of Auburn, announce the birth of a daughter, Rachel Irene, Feb. 22, 2008 at Baptist East in Montgomery. She weighed 8 lbs., 13 oz. and was 20-1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Billy Cleiland of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Matlock Jr. of Clay.

She is welcomed home by a 4-year-old brother, David.
