Firefighters get driver's training
 | | Jackson firefighters were given the opportunity to participate in driver's training via a driving simulator at the downtown fire station Feb. 12-13. The simulator, housed in a travel trailer, puts drivers of emergency vehicles in various situations using three screens and controls that are simular to the real thing. Even the seat mimics the movement of a real vehicle. The simulator tested the reactions of firefighters to different traffic situations that may arise on the way to the scene of an emergency.
