'Sweetheart Jewelry Expo' presented at Jackson Woman's Club meeting

The Jackson Woman's Club met Feb. 5 at the First United Methodist Church of Jackson.

The program was entitled "Sweetheart Jewelry Expo" with Kenneth Brown, owner of Smith Jewelers, presenting a display of fine jewelry. Brown shared the history of Smith Jewelers, a description of where diamonds are mined and their cut, carat, color and clarity.

Club president Martha Hayes conducted the business meeting. Hostesses for the luncheon were Leslie Savage, Betty Milstead, Irma O'Gwynn and Fay Cooper.
