Sampson - Worthy exchange wedding vows

Mr. and Mrs. Jamarcus Sampson
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Arthor Chaney Jr., all of Jackson, announce the marriage of their children Dynta Worthy and Jamarcus Sampson.

The wedding was an event of Saturday, Feb. 2 at the H.W. Pearce Memorial Park Assembly House in Jackson at 4 in the afternoon. The Rev. D.W. Moore officiated the ceremony.

The bride wore a formal length, strapless gown of white silk with an embroidered lace overlay, enhanced with sequins and pearls. Her bouquet included white roses and greenery.

Maid of honor was Shandrel Holt of Tuscaloosa and Shanika Canes of Virginia was matron of honor. Attendants were Charlotte McGee, Lashandra Worthy, Tyquita Worthy, Miranda Frierson, Tamaron Hunt, all of Jackson, Sharonda Bradley of Evergreen, Courtney Chaney and Ashley Chaney, both of Atlanta, Ga. and Justice Woodyard of Detroit, Mich. They wore wine colored silk formal length gowns and carried bouquets of roses in the same color.

Tobias Fikes of Mobile and Daron Jones of Jackson were the best men. Attendants for the groom included Jerry L. McReynolds, Aaron Worthy, Kevilon Colins, Ray Worthy, Eugene Jackson, Alfred Donald, Adrian Worthy and Kareem Jenkins, all of Jackson, Arthur Chaney III of Atlanta, Ivan Parrish and Elijah Moore, both of Evergreen.

Kenny Johnson provided music for the ceremony. A reception followed.
