John Henry and Whitman Jefferson Cowen Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Cowen (nee Heather Chapman) of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. announce the birth of twin boys, John Henry and Whitman Jefferson, Jan. 30, 2008. John weighed 4 lbs., 6 oz. and Whitman weighed 3 lbs., 11 oz. Grandmother is Elaine R. Chapman of Butler. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glover F. Roberts of Jackson. Joshua C. Reed Jr. Kristin B. Weaver and Joshua C. Reed, both of McIntosh, announce the birth of a son, Joshua C. Reed Jr., Feb. 7, 2008. He weighed 9 lbs., 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Glenda and Thary Weaver, and Sharon and Ricky Reed, all of McIntosh. Great-grandparents are Grable and Leroy Weaver of McIntosh, and Becky and Ralph Chestang of Tibbie.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Moseley (nee Amy Shapley) of Nashville, Tenn. announce the birth and adoption of their daughter, LilyAnne Elisabeth, Aug. 24, 2007. Grandparents are Frances and Glenn Moseley of Jackson and Sheila and Dan Shapley of Nashville. Great-grandmother is Jean Booth of Wagarville. She is welcomed by brother, Ethan, who is 4 years of age. Scarlet Rae DeWitt Mr. and Mrs. Gilmore DeWitt of East Haddam, Conn. announce the birth of a daughter, Scarlet Rae, Nov. 26, 2007. She weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz. and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Myra and Gay DeWitt of Jackson, and Paula Coté of Old Saybrook, Conn. Great-grandmother is Alma Gill Singleton of Jackson.
She was welcomed home by sisters Madelyn and Brooklyn.
