Jackson (14-9) limps into the area tournament this weekend in Jackson on a three game losing streak.

"It has been a test to keep the guys focused," Aggie coach Marcus Caster said. "I hope we are able to pick things back up. We have had a good week of practice and are really focused on Monroe County. We have got to get our guards back to scoring points. Our leading guy on offense has not scored many points the last few games," he said.

The Aggies will face off with Monroe as the top seed of the 4A Area 1 tournament Friday, Feb. 8. The winner of that games faces the winner of the Escambia County and Thomasville game the following night at 7 p.m.
