Commission meeting changed for visit from Gov. Bob Riley

The Washington County Commission announced this week that its regular meeting for Feb. 11 at 10 a.m., has been changed to 1 p.m. the same day to allow commissioners to attend a meeting in Jackson with Governor Bob Riley.

Riley will conduct a meeting with public officials in the Jackson High School Auditorium at 9 a.m. The public is invited to attend a meeting at Jackson City Hall at 11 a.m. for the announcement of a major industry locating to the city.
