Bolen to compete in Miss UWA pageant

Stevi Bolen of Jackson will be among six students from across Alabama who will vie Thursday, Feb. 7 for the title of Miss University of West Alabama.
The annual public program will select a campus representative to the Miss Alabama pageant, a Miss America preliminary held this summer in Birmingham. The pageant begins at 7 p.m. in Bibb Graves Auditorium.
Bolen, who is an English major, will sing "Via Dolorosa." Admission to the pageant is free.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Bolen.
