Anointed Angels celebrate anniversary

Pastor Mulvoy Taylor Jr. will be the speaker for the 4th anniversary of the Anointed Angels at Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Walker Springs. The celebration will begin Saturday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. The master of ceremony will be Minister Clayton E. Davis Jr.

Host groups will be the Blessed Voices, with guest groups, Divine Unity and Divine Sisters of Faith of Walker Springs and the Jackson Male Chorus of Jackson.

The event will climax Sunday, Feb. 3, 2 p.m. at Leroy High School with Carl Moore as the master of ceremony and WGOK's Dr. Feel Good. Speaker for the event will be recording artist, the Rev. Alphonso Bowen of the Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church of Nanafalia.

Guest groups will be the recording artists Joyful Sounds of Selma, Voices of Joy of Mobile, Silvertones of Silas, Goldentones of Leroy and the Humble Spirits.
