Walls going up on new health department
 | | After much work on the site preparation for the new Washington County Health Department building, the frames for the walls finally began going up last week. The Washington County Commission approved the construction of the new health department in 2006. Work was delayed due to problems with the site that had to be corrected and county employees being busy with other projects, such as bridge replacement and road resurfacing. Withering Associates will be the contractor to oversee construction of the facility, with Washington County resident Terry Nelson serving as the on-site supervisor. |
