JIS to host family game night

Jackson Intermediate School will host a Family Game Night on Jan. 24, from 6-7 p.m. The goal for this event is to provide parents and caregivers with tools that will help their children become better learners. Families are invited to experience an evening of games, food, and door prizes. The hope is families participating in our Family Night will:

• experience the fun of learning alongside their child

• develop a greater awareness of ways to assist their child in acquiring math and literacy skills

• see evidence of their families' support for their learning and school environment

• exhibit an increasing excitement in regards to the areas of math and literacy learning

Each family in attendance will receive take-home games and directions for each activity.
