Slayton gets nursing degree from University of Alabama

Jenilee Slayton graduated from the University of Alabama, Dec. 15, 2007 with a bachelor's of science degree in nursing. She is the daughter of Wayne and Terri Slayton and a 2003 graduate of Jackson Academy.
While at the university, she was selected to be an Alabama athletic hostess and an Alabama baseball hostess. She was also a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Slayton was a J.L. Bedsole scholar and a University of Alabama trustee scholar for four years at The Capstone. She was selected as a Lettie Pate Whitehead nursing scholar while earning her nursing degree.
She is employed with Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, on the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She plans to pursue a master's degree in nursing.
