Jeremiah Emanuel McConico

Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Earl McConico Jr. (nee Danita McKenzie) of Jackson, announce the birth of a son, Jeremiah Emanuel, Nov. 23, 2007, 5:28 p.m. at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile. He weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Wayne Lynch of Jackson and the late Thelma M. Coleman, and Mr. and Mrs. Jessie E. McConico Sr. of Leroy.

Charlee Renee Skaggs

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Skaggs (nee Cassie Williams) of Hokes Bluff, announce the birth of a daughter, Charlee Renee, Dec. 23, 2007 at Gadsden Regional Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Renee and Geary Williams of Jackson, and Donna and Eddie Skaggs of Gadsden. Great-grandparents are W.S. "Sonny" Williams and Herman Boutwell, both of Jackson.

Brother, Keller, welcomed her home.

Damian LaShawn Taylor

Mr. and Mrs. Derrick LaBarron Taylor (nee LaTedra Nicole Brown) of Jackson, announce the birth of a son, Damian LaShawn, Jan. 9, 2008, 9:46 a.m. at the Jackson Medical Center. He weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Lori and Archie Williams, and Elizabeth and Walter Louis Taylor Sr., all of Jackson. Great-grandfather is Frank Thomas Sr. of the Winn community.

He was welcomed home by 2-year-old sister KeShanti Nicole and 4-year-old brother, KeyShawn LaBarron.

Hiram Morris Moseley

Mr. and Mrs. Dean Liklen Moseley (nee Kathy Vrocher) of Jackson, announce the birth of a son, Hiram Morris, Jan. 14, 2008, at 1:44 p.m. at the Jackson Medical Center. He was 9 lbs, 12 oz. and 21-1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Vrocher, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Moseley Sr. and Lorraine Palmer Moseley, all of Jackson.
