Wagarville woman faces drug charges
By Evan Carden SA Editor

A Wagarville woman faces drug charges following her arrest by McIntosh Police Jan. 12.

Amanda Brook Sullivan, 27, of Wagarville was stopped on U.S. Highway 43 for a traffic violation, around 8:15 p.m., by McIntosh Police Officer Brad Singleton. When he ran a license check on Sullivan, Singleton found warrants on her for failure to appear on a driving with a revoked license charge.

During a subsequent search of Sullivan's vehicle, the officer discovered what he believed to be several rocks of crack cocaine in a film container, along with some marijuana.

Sullivan was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, first degree possession of marijuana and failure to appear. She was ordered to see the judge and to pay an outstanding fine of $337.
