Lady Aggies tame Tigers, fall to Blount

      The Jackson High School Lady Aggies improved to 1-0 in area play with a 65-43 thrashing of the Monroeville Tigers Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Jackson. "We scored a lot of points," Aggie coach Trinnia McKenzie said of the area win. " We got a lot of points off of turnovers.

      The Jackson Aggie Bteam picked up a 47-45 win over the Monroeville Tigers Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Jackson. The Aggies, led by O.J. Gillard's 15 points, rallied from a 24-21 halftime deficit to earn the win.

Tucker gets first buck
     Jonathan "Chipper" Tucker Jr. made his first unassisted kill over the Thanksgiving holiday while hunting with his father in the Salitpa area. He shot the cowhorn buck with a .22 Hornet.
