Geaux Tigers
 | | The LSU Tigers won the national championship 38-24 Monday, Jan. 7, against Ohio State and that was good news for one Jackson family. "I guess we are in the minority here since we are huge LSU fans, " Jackson resident and LSU fan Marcus Pittman said. "I get a kick out of seeing fans from the other two schools (Alabama and Auburn) bickering with each other." The Pittmans, Marcus, Charlyn, Hayley and Samantha have lived in Jackson for the last five years but are originally from Baton Rouge, La. The family let their LSU roots shine bright with big L.S.U. letters on the top of their house in Golfview in celebration of the Tigers second national championship in three years.
