Lindsey Atchison, bride-elect of Tom McLendon, was the guest of honor at several recent showers.

Miscellaneous Shower

A miscellaneous bridal shower was given for Miss Atchison Sunday, Oct. 12, at the First Baptist Church of McIntosh. The shower was hosted by the ladies of Mrs. Ed Atchison's Sunday School class.

Special guests attending were Mrs. Wendell Atchison and Mrs. Mark McLendon, mothers of the bride-elect and groomelect, respectively, both of Malcolm; Mrs. Gladys Alday of Leroy, great-grandmother of Mr. McLendon; Mrs. Opie Sullivan of Malcolm, Mrs. Ed Atchison of McIntosh and Mrs. Gene Parker of Jackson, grandmothers of the bride-elect and groom-elect, respectively; and Kristian Atchison of Leroy, Miss Atchison's sister.

An assortment of gifts were received by the couple.

Stock the Pantry Shower

A stock the pantry shower was given in honor of the brideelect Saturday, Nov. 1 at the home of her aunt, Amy Byrd of Malcolm. Hostesses were her aunts, Connie Gerald of Mobile, Beth Bromstad of McIntosh and Mrs. Bubba Sullivan of Calvert.

Mothers of the couple; grandmothers of Miss Atchison, Mrs. Opie Sullivan and Mrs. Ed Atchison; and great-grandmother of the groom-elect, Mrs. Gladys Alday, were included in the hospitality.

A menu of chicken tenders, potato casserole, coleslaw, bread, assorted cakes and cookies was served.

Lingerie Shower

A lingerie shower Saturday, Nov. 8, was hosted at the home of the bride-elect's parents in Malcolm. Miss Kristian Atchison, the honoree's sister, was the hostess.

Many friends and family members were in attendance.
