Vera Fendley Robinson

resident of Semmes, died Nov. 2, 2008 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. A 20-year employee with Vanity Fair Corporation, she and her husband also owned and operated Bedsole Grocery and Gas in Coffeeville. She was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church of Coffeeville and a former member of Horeb Baptist Church. Her first husband, Lyman Bedsole, and her later husband, Louis "Tutt" Robinson, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were Nov. 5 at Center Point Baptist Church with Steve Green officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville.

Survivors include, one daughter, Carolyn Bedsole Williamson of Semmes; one sister, Betty Lynn (Ned) Dunagan of Coffeeville; a granddaughter and grandson, Barbara (Ricky) Jennings and Michael (Theresa) Williamson, both of Semmes; and two greatgrandchildren, Molly Katherine Williamson and Mary Morgan Jennings, both of Semmes.

Active pallbearers were Rick Jennings, Daryl Dunagan, Destry Dunagan, Fred Dunagan, Tad Detlefsen, Rusty Brown, Ike Mozingo and Henry Mozingo. Honorary pallbearers were Lois Merriweather, Alice Jewel Jones, Shirley Robinson, Louise and Carlton Smith, Sue and Sonny Creighton, Ruby and Ken Davis and Martha and Tommy Dumas.
