Miss Bennett and Mr. Parden Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rowe Bennett of Gadsden announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Clare, to Nicholas Paul Parden. Mr. Parden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Paul Parden of Excel.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Sue Noojin of Gadsden and the late Max Noojin, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Bennett of Gadsden.

A 2003 graduate of Westbrook Christian School in Rainbow City, Miss Bennett received a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 2007 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). She is employed at the University Hospital Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Birmingham.

The prospective groom's grandparents are Reba Jackson of Jackson and the late Ralph Jackson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Parden.

A 2003 graduate of Excel High School and a 2007 graduate of the UAB School of Nursing, Mr. Parden works in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at The Foundation Ranch in Anniston at 5 in the afternoon. Invitations will be sent.
