Andrew Lamar Counselman Jr. died in an area hospital in Clarke County, Sept. 13, 2008, at the age of 69. A supervisor for Vanity Fair, he was a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Counselman of Jackson; three sons, Dale Jones of Montgomery, and Randall L. Counselman and Ronald A. Counselman, both of Jackson; five daughters, Wendy Todd of Sheridan, Ark., and Kay Bolen, Jennifer Baxter, Rhonda Vick and Tammy Tovrea, all of Jackson; sister, Mary T. Dunagan of Coffeeville; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sept. 15 at Stave Creek Baptist Church in Jackson with the Revs. William Allison and Huey Denton officiating. Interment was in the West Bend Cemetery in West Bend under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home.
