James Bernard Jackson, 83, of Thomasville, died Aug. 27, 2008 at the Jackson Health Care Facility in Jackson.

Survivors include a sister, Cecile Runnels of Alexander City; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Aug. 29 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville with the Rev. Jim DuFriend officiating and O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.
