Vicky Unice Freeman, 47, died Aug. 29, 2008 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. She was a native of Mobile and resident of Satsuma. A member of the First Baptist Church of Satsuma, she was a hostess at Pintoli's Restaurant.

Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Freeman of Satsuma; one daughter, Amy Uvon Freeman of Chickasaw; three brothers, James Boyd Bishop Jr. of Houston, Texas, Robert Carlton Kay and Samuel Lee Gibson, both of St. Stephens; mother and stepfather, Winnie A. Parnell and Charles Lee Gibson, both of St. Stephens.

Funeral services were Sept. 3 at Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom with interment in the Jones-Beech Cemetery in Hobson.
