Forest Avenue Baptist Church to celebrate 50th anniversary
      Forest Avenue Baptist Church will celebrate its 50th anniversary over the next couple of weeks with special anniversary services Sunday, Aug. 24 and Sunday Aug. 31 The church's roots date to 1956 when Dr. Grady Ketchum, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, and the church deacons agreed to sponsor a mission for a second Baptist church in the town.
