Dorothy Lee Shirley, 90, died July 28, 2008 at the Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom. A native of Chatom and resident of Weogufka, she was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church in Weogufka.

Survivors include two sons, Hugh Shirley of New York and Bert Shirley of Mobile; three brothers, Nicky Beach and Darryl Beach, both of Mobile and Ted Beach of Hemet, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Grace of Orange Beach and Jackie Watkins of Mobile; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment are today (Thursday), 1 p.m., at Green Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Childersburg under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom.
