Susie Pugh McLendon, 87, a resident of Wetumpka, died May 31, 2008 in a local nursing home. Her husband, Alonza McLendon and daughter, Faye Marie McLendon, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, James O. (Sandra) McLendon and Wayne (Shari) McLendon, both of Wetumpka; five grandchildren, Melissa McKinnon, Stacey M. Price, David Wigginton, Jarrett McLendon and Mary K. McLendon; three great-grandchildren, Sgt. Michael McKinnon, Lane Price and Chase Price.

Graveside services were June 3 in the Faith Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Doyle Brown officiating. Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directed the arrangements.
