Mr. and Mrs. Jared Brantley (nee Joanna McVay) of St. Augustine, Texas, and formerly of Jackson, announce the birth of a daughter Megan Lynn, March 3, 2008, 8:42 a.m. at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19-1/2 inches long.

She was welcomed home by 2-year-old sister, Leia.

Grandparents are Betty and Bill Felton of Gulf Shores, Opal and Frank McVay of Mobile, and Jane and Johnny Brantley of DeQuincy, La. Great-grandmother is Mrs. Lela Clements of DeQuincy.
