A Morvin man was arrested Monday for stealing a four-wheeler in the Bashi community.

Clarke County sheriff's deputies spent nearly 12 hours searching the area for Justin Maurice Cowan, 22, who is believed to have stolen the Honda fourwheeler from John Harrison about 10 a.m.

Cowan apparently abandoned the four-wheeler and ran into the woods.

He was found at his home that night about 9:30 and arrested.

Cowan was charged with theft of property, first degree/auto theft.

Brice Kendrick Woods, 19, assault, second degree/aggravated child abuse, arrested by Clarke County Sheriff's Dept.

Anthony Dewayne King, 20, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia/first offense, distribution of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, arrested by the Clarke County Sheriff's Dept.

Samuel Leon Rogers, 42, distribution of controlled substance, arrested by Clarke County Sheriff's Dept.
