Lawrence and Mississippi fade out Bama stars

      Mississippi returned two interceptions for touchdowns- the final one a 94-yard return by George County defensive back Alonzo Lawrence- and the visitors beat Alabama 26-7 in the 21st annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Classic at Ladd- Peebles Stadium.

     Tobie Middleton shot this 8- point deer with a .223 rifle while hunting with her granfather, Floyd Middlteon, in Salitpa. Middleton, age 12, is the daughter of Tresa and Scott Middleton of Jackson.
