Creel and Locco exchange vows
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mario Locco of Parkville, Md. She is the granddaughter of Luigina Locco of Baltimore and the late Nicola Locco, and Lenora Aguayo of Paraguay and the late Juan Aguayo. Mr. Creel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. "Dick" Creel of Walker Springs. He is the grandson of the late Lila Ruth and S.J. Creel and Reginald and Rubye Glenn Armistead. The bride's gown of white organza and tulle was A-line with beaded lace and featuring a vertical ruffled skirt and a chapel length train. The matron of honor was Liza Tabora-Martinez and Courtney Amelang was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nichole Macelheny, Sara Hiteshew, Michele Sturgill and Zoraida Doria, all of Baltimore, Natalia Cabrera of McLean, Va. and Sylivia Ghassemieh of Vienna, Va. Attending the groom as best man was his father. Groomsmen included the groom's brother, Kevin Creel of Walker Springs, the bride's brother, Brandon Locco of Parkville, Bert Heath of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Paul Rand of Los Angeles, Calif., Walt Evans of Dothan and Thomas Saunders of Birmingham. Transportation was provided in a replica of a vintage trolley to and from the wedding for guests of the groom from their hotel. Reception The reception was held at Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, Md. Prior to the introduction of the wedding party, guests were served appetizers and entertained with accordion music. A menu including Caesar salad, strip loin of beef, Baltimore crab cakes, roasted potatoes, steamed vegetables and rolls with a dessert buffet was provided for the guests. Gift bags containing slices of a tuxedo wedding cake were also presented. Music was by DJ Vincent Tabora. The bride and groom danced their first dance to "Something" by the Beatles, as the wedding party stood in their honor. The bride's father sang several selections of family favorites, and "Sweet Home Alabama" was played in honor of Mr. Creel's Alabama family and friends. The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls and will reside in Baltimore. Rehearsal Dinner The rehearsal dinner was at Vito's Italian Café in Cockeysville, Friday, Oct. 19. The wedding party, friends and family were treated to Italian cuisine. Appetizers of fried calamaretti, mozzarella pastenopea and stuffed mushrooms with lump crabmeat were served, followed by the house salad. Entrees included chicken Marsala, flounder francese and penne al qualtro formaggl. Cannoli, tiramisu' and rum cake were the dessert choices.
The bride and groom gave gifts of engraved silver coasters and pastry servers to their wedding party.
