Christmas spirit in lights
Those driving on U.S. Highway 43, from Mobile northward, have plenty of opportunities to see the Christmas spirit abounding at the many homes decorated with colorful lights. Top photo: At this home in the Cricket Hill/Malcom area of Washington County, the arrangement of lights gives the impression that the house was plucked straight from the North Pole and set down in Washington County. Left photo: This home near Mt. Vernon is made to resemble a winter wonderland, with nearly every bush, the fence and all visible structures covered in lights.
