Church Calendar 2007 in McIntosh New Testament Tabernacle in McIntosh will be hosting the Winter Camp Meeting 2007 with Bro. Wilbert Reed Dec. 21-31 at 7:30 nightly. Guest ministers will include Sis. Blakney, Dec. 21 and 22; Bro. Cooper, Dec. 23 and 24; Sis. Henderson, Dec. 25; Bro. Hunter, Dec. 26; Bro. C. Rivers, Dec. 27; and Bro. Reed, Dec. 28-31. Bro. Reed said, "Come expecting a great move of God and a renewal in your spirit. Be blessed into the New Year. Bring the sick, lost and oppressed and receive a miracle." Calhoun announces a "Watch Night Service" at the Sunflower AOH Church of Thomasville on Monday, Dec. 31, 9 p.m. Brunch will also be served. Jones Chapel presents cantata "The Smokey Mountain Christmas" play and cantata will be presented at the Jones Chapel Methodist Protestant Church. Pastor Marc Williams invites everyone to come and enjoy the event on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 22 and 23, at 6 each evening. Courses offered at Mt. Olive No. 2 The Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church of Jackson will host Christian Leadership School (CLS). The two courses to be offered are Church Administration and Baptist Doctrine. Courses will be conducted at the church located at 105 Griffin St., Jackson. Classes will be in session through Dec. 21, 6-10 p.m. The instructor for Baptist Doctrine with be the Rev. D.W. Moore and Sister Louise Pruitt-Davis will teach Church Administration. The Rev. Edsel Davis is serving as interim pastor. Registration is at the church. Month of music at Wagarville Baptist December is a month of music and celebration at Wagarville Baptist Church. Choirs from throughout the area will gather for a Choir Fest 5th Sunday Singing on Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow, the public is encouraged to attend free of charge.
