Washington County Sheriff's Report

The Washington County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests during the past week:

•Joseph Weaver, 36, of McIntosh was arrested Dec. 3 and charged with second degree theft of property and criminal mischief. Bond was set at $7,500.

•Arvie Lucille Kimble, 32, of Mobile was arrested Dec. 4 and charged with negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument. Bond was set at $500.

•Tom Swede Byrd, 27, of Dauphin Island was returned to custody in Washington County Dec. 4 for a violation of probation charge.

•Michael Bryant, 49, of Jackson was arrested Dec. 4 and charged with first degree theft by deception. Bond was set at $2,500.

•James Leon Parnell, 27, of Tibbie was arrested Dec. 4 and charged with reckless endangerment and two counts of harassment. Bond was set at $5,000.

•Jonathan Eastman, 24, of Chatom was taken into custody by Washington County authorities Dec. 4 to serve time on a sentence for distribution of a controlled substance.

•Bill Lydell, 45, of McIntosh was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with second degree assault. Bond was set at $5,000.

•Larry Yelder, 60, of Leroy was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with two counts of reckless endangerment. Bond was set at $6,000.

•Brandon Yelder, 24, of Leroy was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with menacing. Bond was set at $1,000.

•Christopher D. Harris, 37, of Vinegar Bend was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with failure to appear on charges of driving with a revoked license and negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument. He was ordered to pay $607.20.

•Tera Renee Sims, 34, of Grove Hill was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with two counts of negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument. Bond was set at $1,000.

•Joshua Ryan Turner, 23, of Millry was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with failure to appear on charges of negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument, speeding and driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay $856.65.

•Tracy Stewart, 36, of Grove Hill was arrested Dec. 6 and charged with negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument. Bond was set at $500.

•Kyle M. Cole, 26, of Citronelle was arrested Dec. 6 on a warrant for violation of probation. Bond was set at $5,000 and he was ordered to pay $606.90.

•Melvin Norwood Jr., 44, of Wagarville was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with third degree assault and third degree escape. Bond was set at $1,500.

•Perry L. Spencer, 41, of Wagarville was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with second degree assault. Bond was set at $2,000.

•Jesse Weaver, 56, of Jackson was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with failure to appear on charges of speeding and no insurance. He was ordered to pay $314.

•Heather Beech, 30, of Mobile was taken into custody Dec. 7 on warrants from the Mobile County Sheriff's Department. (Alabama State Troopers)

•Gina Crawford, 37, of Millry was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument. Bond was set at $500.

•Carl Ray Dearmon, 50, of Millry was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500. (Millry P.D.)

•Jamie Ryan Stoker, 21, of Millry was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with public intoxication. Bond was set at $500. (Alabama Department of Conservation)

•Woody Ray Jordan, 50, of Grove Hill was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with third degree domestic violence/menacing and violation of a protection order. Bond was set at $6,000.

•James Richardson, 30, of Leroy was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with failure to pay on charges of driving while suspended and DUI. He was ordered to pay $2,170. (Chatom P.D.)

•Kari Ann Martin, 32, of Citronelle was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with failure to pay on a speeding charge. She was ordered to pay $152.50. (Chatom P.D.)

•Carolyn Paul, 46, of Vinegar Bend was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with three counts of negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument and theft of services. Bond was set at $4,000.

•Jerry H. Strickland, 55, of Thomasville was arrested Dec. 8 and charged with failure to appear on a speeding charge. Bond was set at $500.

•Elizabeth Allen, 30, of Jackson was arrested Dec. 9 and charged with five counts of negotiation of a worthless negotiable instrument. Bond was set at $2,500.

•Willie Lamar Reed, 60, of McIntosh was arrested Dec. 10 and charged with aiding and abetting. He was ordered to see the judge.

(Editor's Note: The Tammy Sullivan whose name appeared in the Washington County Sheriff's Report Nov. 29 was not the Tammy Sullivan who is employed at Jackson Academy and the wife of the Rev. Glenn Sullivan.)
