Reeds exchange vows

Lori A. Reed, daughter of Adell Adams of McIntosh and the late Leo Adams Sr., and Ronny L. Reed, son of Iletha Reed of McIntosh and the late Dan Reed Jr., exchanged vows Dec. 8, 2007 at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. The celebration took place at the H.W. Pearce Memorial Park Assembly House in Jackson with Pastor Aaron Williams and Pastors Eva and Curtis Reed officiating.

"From Now on","Flesh of My Flesh" and the "Wedding Song" were sung by Ministers Eugene Lett and William Hill III.

The bride's white satin beaded gown was halter-styled and featured a sash in the back and bow in the front. Her bouquet consisted of white roses, greenery and calla lilies.

Sheila Thomas of Atlanta, Ga. was maid of honor, with Beverly Abrams, Vernetta Adams, Sharon Brown and Cynthia Jordan, all of McIntosh and Krishanna Adams Ballard of Mobile as the bridesmaids. The attendants' gowns wore two-piece sleeveless gowns, with A-line skirts, button down backs with sashes tying in the front. Ms. Thomas carried a bouquet of white roses with silver leaves and ribbon. The bridesmaids carried red roses with silver leaves and ribbon.

The best man was Bruce Adams of McIntosh. Groomsmen were Minister Gary Becton and Laverne Ballard, both of Mobile, Christopher Adams, Ronny Reed Jr. and Lawrence West, all of McIntosh.

Reception

A reception immediately followed.

The bride's three-tiered cake had white butter-cream icing in a basket-weave with fruit and the couple's monogram on the top layer. The groom's cake also featured the monogram on top and was chocolate with chocolate icing.

Guests' tables were covered with white linen cloths and centered with tall clear vases containing a tropical Bird of Paradise plant. The fireplace was decorated with red poinsettias, green garlands, white lights and red candles.

The couple is making their home in McIntosh following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas.
