Church Calendar at First Baptist An ensemble from the First Baptist Church of Jackson adult choir will present a video program with music before the Senior Adult Choir performs "Once Upon a Miracle" Sunday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. On Sunday, Dec. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Georgiann Woodyard Lewis and Amanda Woodyard McLain will present a program of music incorporating the piano, keyboard and flute. A candlelit Lord's Supper will also be shared. Courses offered at Mt. Olive No. 2 The Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church of Jackson will host Christian Leadership School (CLS). The two courses to be offered are Church Administration and Baptist Doctrine. Courses will be conducted at the church located at 105 Griffin St., Jackson. Classes will be in session Dec. 17-21, 6-10 p.m. The instructor for Baptist Doctrine with be the Rev. D.W. Moore and Church Administration will be taught by Sister Louise Pruitt-Davis. The Rev. Edsel Davis is serving as interim pastor. Registration begins Monday, Dec. 17, 5:30 p.m. at the church. Chilton Baptist presents concert The Chilton Baptist Church will present a Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. featuring "Southern Joy" of Mobile. A Christmas dinner will be shared after the concert. The Rev. Clifford Dees is the pastor. Everyone is invited to attend. Month of music at Wagarville Baptist December is a month of music and celebration at Wagarville Baptist Church. On Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. the Wagarville Baptist Choir will present the Christmas musical "A Night To Remember." Choirs from throughout the area will gather in Wagarville for a Choir Fest 5th Sunday Singing on Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow each event and the public is encouraged to attend free of charge. The Rev. Charles E. Johnson and the congregation of New Jerusalem Holiness Church of Bay Minette will be the speaker and special guests at the anniversary celebration of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church of Suggsville. It will be an event of Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Prospere Sainvilus is the pastor.
