      The Washington County Bulldogs have started the season on fire in basketball as the 3A Bulldogs went to Mobile on Nov. 19 and came away with the top spot in the UMS Wright Invitational tournament. Fairhope, McGill-Toolen, WCHS and UMS Wright participated.

Little League meeting
      The annual Little League meeting is Dec. 6 at the Jackson City Hall. All parents with children playing are encouraged to attend. A new Jackson Little League president will be voted on in the meeting. The meeting will start at 7 p.m.
