Thanks for help with Fall Festival

On Saturday, November 3rd, the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 25th Annual Fall Festival. Our goal for this year's event was to increase attendance and to make it our biggest and best Fall Festival ever.

This year's event attracted thousands of spectators to the Jackson area who in turn brought added revenue to our city. Downtown Jackson was filled with live entertainment, over 60 arts and ccrafts vendors, over 25 food vendors, the First Annual Chili Cook-Off, the antique car show, a motorcycle show, the lumberjack competition and several kid's games.

Jackson's local businesses make Fall Festival possible through their financial support.

Without the sponsorship of our member businesses, the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce would not be able to organize an event of this magnitude. This year we had over 40 Fall Festival sponsors.

Marty Parker and I would like to extend a warm thank you to the following individuals, families and organizations for their hard work and dedication in ensuring that our event was successful:
Mayor Long and Jackson City
Council members
City Employees
Chamber's Board of Directors
Pine City Ambassadors
Interact
Jackson Police Department
Smith Family
Slayton Family
Jordan Family
Melodye Dunagan
Don Gibson
The South Alabamian

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to host such a wonderful family fun event. We are confident that all visitors experienced what makes Jackson so unique. We are a place where people matter and a community where people grow together.
