Bears tame Tigers, 39-20
LHS rolls up 39 points and 359 yards in first half to advance to second round

      Michael Bracy scored four first half touchdowns to help the Leroy Bears cruise to a 39- 20 win over Luverne in the first round of the AHSAA playoffs Friday night at Palmer Stadium. Leroy built a 39-0 first half lead before giving way to their back ups midway through the second quarter.

Bolen bags a big one!!
     Blake Bolen, 10 years old, killed this 8-point buck that weighed 150 pounds in Salitpa on youth day while hunting with his father. Bolen shot the deer with a .243 and although it was his third deer it was his first buck. He is the son of Debra and Daron Bolen of Jackson.
