Eyesores in downtown Jackson
 | | The renovated stretch of Commerce Street in downtown Jackson is a compliment to the city with nice landscaping and mostly wellkept stores.However, just off Commerce are these scenes- a boarded up and overgrown storefront on Kimball Avenue and the same on Carroll Street. The latter scene greets local residents and out-of-town visitors alike headed to Pearce Park and the Assembly House where many events are held. It is a wonderful welcome for guests, isn't it? |
